What to include

Website correction

Include:

  • The page URL
  • The exact statement that needs review
  • The corrected information
  • A current official, operator, or booking source when available
  • The date you observed the change

Useful corrections include changed meeting points, outdated age rules, altered parking access, mislabeled images, and wildlife or safety guidance that has been superseded.

Access or map update

Tell us which location is affected:

  • Maluaka Beach north access
  • Maluaka Beach south access
  • Makena Landing
  • Kihei departure area
  • Maalaea Harbor
  • Another location shown on the site

Include the date, current sign or closure information, and a public source or photograph when it is safe and lawful to provide one. Do not send private-property access codes or instructions for bypassing a closure.

Tour information update

Include the tour title, operator, Viator link or product code, and the field that changed. Examples include:

  • Meeting location
  • Duration
  • Minimum age
  • Swimming requirement
  • Group limit
  • Inclusions
  • Accessibility statement
  • Planned Turtle Town stop
  • Cancellation terms

Price, rating, review count, and availability change frequently. The live booking page controls those fields.

Privacy request

Choose “Privacy request” and explain whether you are requesting access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal, or another right that applies in your jurisdiction.

We may need to verify that the request relates to you. Do not send a passport, identity card, or other sensitive document unless we provide a secure and necessary verification method.

Partnership or media inquiry

Explain the organization, proposed collaboration, destination or tour involved, and whether compensation, travel, products, links, or editorial coverage are requested.

Commercial relationships do not guarantee inclusion, ranking, favorable coverage, or control over editorial conclusions. Any material relationship must be disclosed clearly.

When to contact someone else

Reservation, refund, or cancellation

Use the support channel in the booking confirmation. TurtleTownMaui.net cannot open, change, cancel, or refund a third-party reservation.

Same-day meeting instructions

Contact the operator using the phone number, message system, or email in the current confirmation. Do not navigate to a general Turtle Town pin.

Beach or park management

Use the responsible Maui County, Hawaii State Parks, or other government contact for closures, facilities, enforcement, lost property, permits, or maintenance.

Ocean emergency

Call 911 for an immediate threat to human life on Maui. Do not wait for a website response.

Injured or stranded marine wildlife

For a sick, injured, entangled, stranded, or dead sea turtle or marine mammal in Hawaii, call the NOAA Marine Wildlife Hotline at 888-256-9840.

Suspected wildlife violation

NOAA lists 800-853-1964, and Hawaii DLNR lists 808-643-DLNR (3567) or the DLNRTip app for illegal or suspicious activity involving protected wildlife.

Response and review process

Messages are reviewed for relevance, evidence, urgency, privacy, and the page affected. A correction may require checking an official source, current booking page, map, operator notice, or on-site information.

We cannot promise an individual response to every submission. Material safety, access, wildlife, privacy, and factual issues receive priority.

Submitting a message does not create a booking, guide, legal, medical, rescue, or professional-advice relationship.

Before sending

  • Check whether the booking platform or operator is the correct recipient.
  • Include the relevant page URL.
  • Remove sensitive personal and payment information.
  • Use a current source when reporting a factual change.
  • Call emergency services instead of using the form for urgent danger.
  • Read the privacy policy for information about form submissions.
